The application lifecycle begins when customers initiate the registration process by submitting an Intake Request (IR) form. The IR form is a critical step in the application implementation process. It is used to gather all necessary configuration details before setting up the application in the Aikyam Identity Platform across non-production (non-prod) and production (prod) environments. It captures:
  • Customer portal/application name
  • AIDE ID
  • Application type (Web or Machine-to-Machine)
  • Authentication and authorization requirements
  • Business use case
  • Environment scope (non-prod/prod)
Once the IR is submitted, an administrator logs into the Aikyam Identity Console to begin the application setup process. From there, administrators and application advocates collaboratively manage the full application lifecycle.

UI Path in the Identity Console
Onboard the web or M2M (Machine-to-machine) application into the Aikyam Identity Console.
Applications page > Register (Button)
Modify the application's core settings, including:
  • general information,
  • contact details,
  • the visual design of the sign-in page, and
  • delegation of roles to application advocates to independently oversee user lifecycle management.

Manage authentication details like Client ID and Secret, required for secure communication between the client application and its user.
