Personal representative/caregiver (PR/CG)

A personal representative is a person authorized to act on behalf of the individual in making health care related decisions.
Whereas a Caregiver is a person who tends to the needs or concerns of a person with short or long-term limitations due to illness, injury or disability.
  • HSID/Aikyam can help create an account for above users, when any portal decides to do so.
  • A registration link is generated for these users when requested by the portal. This link will allow them to register as a PR or CG without inputting an identifier and other details of the policy holder or PR / CG themselves.
  • For this solution portal needs to make a back-channel API call to HSID / Aikyam ‘Invitation’ API. Response of this API will be a registration link which can be sent to PR or CG by the portal to help them register.
