What?
A new feature enables partners to create a virtual link that directs users to an HSID‑hosted page displaying the portal’s legal content.
Why?
Legal requirements mandate that HSID host all portal legal content to ensure end users always have access to the most up‑to‑date and compliant information.

What?
The +230 (Mauritius) country code was added to phone number dropdowns across all flows in HSID EDA and the OHID UI. This country code is also now supported in the HSID legacy admin tool.
Why?
This enables users to register, log in, and update their phone number using a Mauritian number through self‑service or with assistance from an agent via the HSID legacy admin tool.

Fast-track registration enhanced to support multiple delivery channels (Email, SMS, and others)

Yes
What?
Fast-track registration now applies the email verification step based on the delivery channel of the invitation link.
Why?
When users receive registration invitations via email, an additional email verification step adds no value. Removing this step for email‑based invitations creates a smoother registration experience. For invitations delivered through other channels, users are still required to complete email OTP verification to maintain the required security posture.
OHID Tier 1 call reduction and email removal (Chat mapping, PBIC)

What?
The OHID tenant now supports Just‑In‑Time (JIT) provisioning using headless single sign‑on (SSO).
Why?
This feature enables seamless login and just‑in‑time user provisioning for users authenticating through third‑party identity providers. It supports clean desk policy scenarios where users do not have access to phones or devices that support passkeys.

What?
A cohesive, intelligent, guided chat experience was introduced in EDA to support authentication‑related interactions, including:
  • Update phone number use cases
  • MFA challenge scenarios within the sign‑in flow
This capability is enabled for two dental portals: HealthPlex and Blue Shield of California.
Why?
HSID EDA did not previously offer a chat experience. This enhancement enables users to resolve MFA issues and update phone numbers via self‑service chat, reducing agent contacts and improving support efficiency.

Yes
What?
Enhanced exponential backoff (EBO) flows were introduced with:
  • A unified exponential backoff timer for SMS and Call
  • Consistent timer display across all flows
  • Temporary disabling (graying out) of Call Me and Text Me options when multiple verification attempts occur rapidly
  • Automatic re‑enablement of options when the timer expires
Why?
These changes:
  • Reduce SMS pumping fraud by slowing high‑velocity OTP requests
  • Lower carrier costs and prevent wasteful spend from automated abuse
  • Protect platform stability by preventing traffic spikes and throttling
  • Improve user experience by preserving SMS and voice channel reliability
  • Provide consistent, platform‑wide protection with no manual intervention

What?
The following defect resolutions close gaps found during end-to-end testing of the UHC migration to the EDA platform and include these enhancements:
  1. Strengthened Password Validation Updated the password validation API to correctly enforce password validation rules, preventing first‑time registrants from creating accounts with incorrect passwords.
  2. Language Persistence After Sign‑In Ensured that a member’s chosen language is properly retained and carried over to the HSID Account Settings page after login.
  3. T&C Pop‑Up Bypass for Superusers Enabled UHC Superusers/Advocates impersonating members via the MyUHC Super User Tool to bypass the Terms & Conditions pop‑up as intended.
  4. Updated the UHC SSO redirect flow so all required parameters—including hybrid2key—are correctly passed to One Portal.
  5. An issue with UHC IFP caused users to face inconsistent login experiences after resetting their passwords. This update restores compatibility by enabling UHC members to successfully log out using the legacy logout process. With this fix, users should no longer experience problems such as being locked out of their accounts, misdirected to the COPPA screen, shown forbidden errors, or redirected to Account Settings instead of the intended portal dashboard.
  6. Multiple defect fixes around Passkey, and Fast-track registrations (errors E0020000 & E0030000)
Why?
  • EDA migration defect fixes improve the consumer experience by addressing friction points found in UHC EDA testing, enabling smoother registration, consistent language, correct SSO, and accurate superuser functions.
  • The recent UHC IFP updates address the confusing login issues that users experienced after resetting their passwords. By bringing back normal login and logout processes, these changes make access more reliable, minimize frustration, and offer a smoother and more predictable experience across all UHC platforms.
  • The defect fixes related to passkey will reduce user friction during Fast-track registration due to errors. Allow users to add passkey successfully.
