Existing non-members can login using their unique email address and password. New non-members must log in using their email address, as username support has been removed from the experience.
Note: Username logins are supported for existing non-member users, but it is recommended to use their email address.
Login step-up (Base to unmatched):
- Login step-up for base users: During login, the base user shall be presented with the step-up page to enter their First name, Last name, DOB (based on portal configuration). The user must provide any missing information. Once these details are updated, they will be redirected to the portal.
- Login step-up for non-members: Non-members missing DOB shall be asked for a step-up during the login only for portals requiring DOB or that are COPPA compliant.
- Users with missing phone numbers: Base accounts with missing phone numbers shall not be handled as EDA experience. Similar to Legacy HSID, these accounts are treated as inactive, and user can reuse the email address for re-registration.
