Welcome to the June release notes for the Aikyam Identity Platform. This page highlights EDA enhancements, OHID improvements, and updates to the Aikyam Identity Console (Admin tool v2), along with other new features included in this release. There is no impact on GOVID or BEWELLNM.

DBIC flow enhancements
Document-based identity proofing flow tracking in Adobe Analytics
Overview
Adobe Analytics events will now capture EDA user activity throughout the DBIC (Document-Based Identity Confirmation) flow, enabling business reporting in Adobe.
Tenant
HSID only.
Business value
This enhancement strengthens reporting visibility by providing actionable insights into user engagement across key EDA entry points and DBIC screen interactions.
User impact
EDA users prompted into the DBIC flow.
Improved user registration with DBIC as an alternative to OTP
Overview
Allows UHC Global mobile users to verify their identity using DBIC when SMS One-Time Password (OTP) is unavailable.

Business value
Enables users to complete registration with document-based identity confirmation as an alternative to OTP.
Primary users
UHC Global mobile users.
EDA enhancements
Simplified registration/login flow and Arabic language support
Overview
EDA sign-in is streamlined by skipping redundant phone verification after 2FA when the phone number is already linked to an existing account. Arabic right-to-left support is also added across key sign-in and account journeys.

HSID only.
Business value
Streamlines login, reduces user confusion, and improves accessible, secure support for Arabic-speaking users.
User impact
Users experiences a smoother sign-in with fewer verification steps and Arabic language support.
Phone-based identity verification in AIC
Overview
Aikyam Identity Console enables support agents to verify user identity through PBIC (Phone-based Identity Confirmation)
Tenant
This feature is built for all tenants but is enabled only for OHID.
Business value
Strengthens account security by ensuring user identity is verified before account updates are completed.
Primary users
OHID – Tier 1 and Tier 2 agents.
OHID Identity modernization program
Overview
Authenticator step-up is required for new registrations and prompted after sign-in for existing users, with a limited-time skip option available.
Tenant
OHID only.
Business value
Improves reliability and security for UHC Global users by requiring authenticator-based step-up, reducing dependency on One-Time Password (OTP) delivery and country-specific access limitations.
Note: This enhancement is driven by a request from UHC Global to mandate authenticator use for its users.
User Impact
No portal impact. The feature is available for enablement, and select OHID portals may adopt it in a future release (if needed).
AI-based enhancements for Operations
Overview
HSID and OHID Tier 2 agents can use a new AI Summary tab in Aikyam Identity Console (AIC) to view concise, context-aware summaries of user authentication and access activity.

Business value
Reduces manual audit log review, helping agents identify user activity faster and resolve issues more efficiently.
Primary users
HSID, OHID Tier 2 Agents on AIC.
Optional verification for email updates in AIC
Overview
Makes primary and secondary verification optional for Tier 1 and Tier 2 agents on user email updates in AIC.

Overview
Upgrades the backend Commons Validator library from version 1.7 to 1.10.1.

Enables successful registration for HSID and OHID users with ‘@empower.spa’ email addresses by resolving domain validation issues.

HSID and OHID users can now complete registration without errors.
Improved passkey setup experience
Overview
Updates passkey setup wording across web and mobile.

Business value
Improves HSID passkey setup guidance and updates “Skip for now” to “Set up later” for clearer tracking and user direction.
