Registration flows

Aikyam supports three primary member registration patterns—implemented on the HSID tenant and, where applicable, on OHID for B2B personas.
  • Matched flow (legacy + rebuild) The portal collects member “Big 5” and unique identifiers, verifies against the EiMP golden record, and then the user creates credentials and sets up MFA. This is the traditional flow and is still used for portals that rely on inline eligibility matching.
  • Unmatched flow (EDA) User starts with basic demographics and proceeds through risk and identity checks; Smart Match and eligibility calls happen behind the scenes. The experience reduces friction by limiting user-entered data and defers strict matching until after identity establishment.
  • Hybrid decoupled flow (EDA) Account creation decouples AuthN from eligibility. If EiMP sync fails, an inactive matched account is created and background retries promote it to active once sync succeeds; users see a friendly message and can retry later. This model improves resilience and reduces registration failures.
