Register a native application

Last update:
Aug 21, 2026
Scenario
An administrator wants to onboard a Native application such as a mobile app, desktop app, or smart device application into the Aikyam Identity Console (AIC) to enable secure authentication and authorization. Native applications use redirect-based login flows, which means users are redirected to AIC for sign-in and then returned to the app after successful authentication. By registering the app in AIC, the administrator ensures it is recognized as a trusted client, can enforce identity policies, and supports centralized access management. This setup provides a seamless login experience across devices, strengthens security, and helps maintain compliance with organizational standards.
Prerequisites
  • Administrator has access to the Applications page with role-based permissions.
  • Intake Request (IR) form is completed with application details.
  • Application type and authentication requirements are finalized.
Roles authorized
  • Application administrator
Steps
  1. Sign in to Aikyam Identity Console.
  2. Navigate to Applications from the left navigation pane.
  3. Click Register application.
  4. Choose application type: Native.
  5. Enter application details such as (Application name, Application ID, Subject Type, Login callback URL).
  6. Review details and click Register to complete onboarding.
