Scenario
An administrator needs to configure Identity proofing for an application in the Aikyam Identity Console (AIC) to ensure accurate user verification during account creation and sign-in. Identity proofing validates user details against trusted records, reducing fraud risk and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. By enabling identity proofing, organizations can enforce different onboarding experiences such as matched, unmatched, or hybrid based on business requirements. This helps maintain data integrity, protect sensitive information, and deliver a secure user experience.
Prerequisites
  • Administrator has access to the Applications page with role-based permissions.
  • The application is already registered in AIC.
  • Business requirements for identity matching (Required, Optional, None) are finalized.
Roles authorized
  • Application administrator
Steps
  1. Sign in to Aikyam Identity Console.
  2. Navigate to Applications from the left navigation pane.
  3. Search for and select the application.
  4. Go to the Policy tile.
  5. Click View & Update.
  6. Under Identity proofing, select Match type (Required, Optional, None) and configure preferences.
  7. Click Save.
Note:
  • Required: Enforces identity matching for member-only experiences.
  • Optional: Supports hybrid experiences (Guest →Member step-up).
  • None: For unmatched experiences where identity verification is not needed.
