Edit user profiles

This feature allows viewing and copying user details (name, email, phone number, date of birth, and account status). Email and phone number are editable.

To edit or update email and phone:

Select Users from the left navigation pane.
Use the search bar to find the user by name, email, or username, etc.
Open the user profile and locate the Email (Primary or Secondary) or Phone section.
Editing phone number:
In the Phone section, select the appropriate action:
- If phone number is unverified, Click Verify now link to initiate OTP verification.
- If the phone number is missing, Click the pencil icon to add the phone number. After updating, click on Verify now link to complete verification.
- If the user wants to update the existing phone number, Click the pencil icon to edit the phone number. After updating, click Verify now link to complete verification.
Editing email (Primary or secondary)
- If email address is unverified, Click Verify now to initiate OTP verification.
- To update the existing primary or secondary email, Click the pencil icon to edit the email. After updating, click Verify now to complete verification.
Shared email
- If the same email address is used in multiple user accounts, the system will display the “Email is shared” icon to indicate that the email is linked to more than one account.
- When editing a shared email address, the user must enter a unique email address to proceed.
- Shared email accounts can only be created through portals where the “unique email address” flag is disabled in the end‑user flow.
- Agents are allowed to update any email address, but only to a unique email address.
- A shared email address may appear as a secondary email on one user while also serving as the primary email for another user.
Click Save & verify to complete the action.
