Enterprise Digital Authentication (EDA) is a scalable and user-friendly solution designed to enhance digital identity authentication across UnitedHealth Group platforms, ensuring a consistent and unified user experience. It simplifies the registration process, enhances security, and creates a seamless, modern experience that meets the needs of all users with ease and efficiency.
At the core of EDA is HealthSafe ID, a leading enterprise technology, ensuring robust security with dual-factor authentication to safeguard sensitive health information. With a HealthSafe ID, users can access many resources using just one email and password. No more multiple passwords for multiple sites.
HSID shall support both non-members, individuals with no prior relationship with UHG LOB or Optum LOB, or members who have already established an association. New users and existing users shall be supported by these solutions.
