Authentication ensures secure user access by enforcing strong login methods and adaptive security policies. The Aikyam Identity Console supports role-based authentication features to reduce unauthorized access and improve account security.
Administrators and authorized roles can perform the following actions:
  1. Reset user password - Initiate a password reset using the user’s verified email address or phone number.
  2. Configure account recovery - View the account recovery configuration (currently set to MFA inactive and reserved for future enhancements).
  3. Enable or disable passkeys - Manage passwordless sign-in by enabling, disabling, or deleting passkeys.
  4. Manage authenticator setup - Enable, disable, or delete existing authenticators for secondary verification.
  5. Configure risk-based authentication whitelisting - Allow trusted devices to bypass second-factor verification by enabling or disabling whitelist settings.
