Governance ensures that user access remains appropriate, secure, and compliant throughout its lifecycle. It provides visibility into roles, permissions, and group memberships, enabling administrators and authorized personas to review, validate, and adjust access after it has been granted. The Aikyam Identity Console (AIC) supports governance workflows to maintain least-privilege principles and prevent unauthorized access.
Administrators and authorized roles can perform the following actions:
  1. Review roles and permissions - View all roles assigned to a user across applications and groups to confirm compliance.
  2. Review group memberships - Check user groups for inherited permissions and access context.
  3. Validate access inheritance - Confirm how roles propagate through organizational hierarchies and adjust as needed.
Roles authorized:
  • Support operations Tier 2 – Can review roles, group memberships, and audit logs for compliance.
  • Application owner – Can validate application-level access and monitor user roles within their scope.
  • Group owner – Can review and manage group memberships for users within their groups.
