Description
Enterprise Digital Authentication (EDA) is a scalable and user-friendly solution designed to enhance digital identity authentication across UnitedHealth Group platforms, ensuring a consistent and unified user experience. It simplifies the registration process, enhances security, and creates a seamless, modern experience that meets the needs of all users with ease and efficiency.
At the core of EDA is HealthSafe ID, a leading enterprise technology, ensuring robust security with dual-factor authentication to safeguard sensitive health information. With a HealthSafe ID, users can access many resources using just one email and password. No more multiple passwords for multiple sites.
Who are members?
Members are individuals who currently have or previously had a UHG or Optum product or service. They require an ID for identity verification.
Business Value
By leveraging smart matching and pre-populated forms, the system minimizes manual data entry errors and reduces the administrative burden on support teams. This leads to lower operational costs and improved operational efficiency across the organization.
