Provisioning is the first step in the identity lifecycle, where new users are securely registered and granted initial access. The Aikyam Identity Console offers multiple provisioning methods to help administrators and support teams manage identities efficiently.
- Self-service registration:
- Users register independently through the self-service portal.
- Includes email and phone verification.
- Commonly used for creating a One Healthcare ID
- Once registered, users appear in the Registered users list and can manage their own profiles.
- Portal-initiated registration :
- Applications integrated with Aikyam redirect users to the self-service registration form.
- After completing registration, users return to the originating portal for seamless onboarding.
- Admin-assisted registration :
- Administrators invite users directly from the Admin Console using the Invite user tab.
- Allows manual entry of user details and assignment of application and group context.
- Invited users receive an email with a registration link to complete onboarding.
- API-based invitation:
- Supports system-to-system onboarding through the Invitation API.
- Enables B2B flows where external systems trigger user registration.
- Users receive an email invitation and can log in with an existing account or create a new one.
- Bulk registration :
- Administrators onboard multiple users using the Import users tab.
- Requires a formatted Excel or CSV file with mandatory fields.
- Ideal for high-volume onboarding; currently supported for specific provider portals.
- View and manage invitations :
- Track pending invitations under Invited users (Pending registration).
- Actions available:
- Resend Invitation – If the user missed or didn’t receive the email.
- Cancel Invitation – If the invite is no longer valid.
- Status changes to Registered after the user completes onboarding.
Roles authorized:
- Support operations Tier 2 – Can invite users and perform bulk imports.
- Application owner – Can onboard users within their application scope.
- Group owner – Can onboard users to their groups.
